MUA Brushes

On the 27 November 2012 MUA launched there own line of brushes after listening to many requests from there customers who are fans on the brand exclusive to Superdrug. With the help of the international make-up artist, Karla Powell, MUA have created a collection of brushes that range from £1.50-£5.All of the brushes in the collection have synthetic bristles and claim to be 100% cruelty free. Unfortunately these aren't available in any Superdrug stores and MUA aren't planning to sell them there in the near future(sob). But I braved the website to get my hands on some.

E3-Blending Eyeshadow Brush

This brush is fantastic it has a brilliant fluffy head which is obviously perfect for blending and only sets you back £1.95. It has a long handle compared with many of my other brushes (I know there isn't a picture of this but I forgot so just take my word for it) which,in a way, isn't really necessary. Also, the size of the actual brush head isn't too large and can quite easily blend right into the crease of your eye lid.

E2-Eyeshadow Contour Brush

This brush is the perfect brush for contouring your eye due to it tapered bristles and the medium angle that it has. If you feel the need to buy any eye brush from MUA I would recommend this one purely because it's angled enough to define your eye but it can also blend and be used to apply colour all over the lid.

F2-Foundation Blending Brush

I was very sceptical about this brush, which buy the way is actually called a stippling brush on the MUA online store, and I'm still not sure about it now. The head of the brush is actually very small which I wasn't expecting but that allows you to get to all of the small areas of your face. This is probably my least favourite simply because it is designed to look like a stippling brush but has the characteristics of a buffing brush, it is just rather inconvenient when you a stippling brush but pick this up instead. All this brush needs is a little re-designing, hint hint MUA.
